as all of us know there are two festivals in Islam celebrated each year Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha. Eid Ul Fitr is celebrated at end of holy month of Ramadan Kareem while Eid Ul Adha is celebrated after Hajj in month of Dhu al-Hijjah.

On Eid Al Adha Muslims around the world do sacrifice Qurbani of animals like camels, cows, goats and most of meat is distributed among poor people. Qurbani is done in memory of Prophet Abrahm A.S sacrifice of his son Ismael A.S on order of Allah SWT. Eid Qurbani 2014 is also less than a month away from us now as Eid is getting closer.

Sacrifice of Millions of goats, cows, camels and other Halal animals will by done by Muslims all around the world. the millions of people who will be in Saudi Arabia for performing hajj will also be doing the sacrifice there.

the special markets for selling of animals have been setup in different cities where people go and buy the animals. these markets are called Bakra Mandi in urdu language. in Pakistan it is expected that prices will be high this year because of floods. similar markets are also setup in other countries like Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Indonesia.

In recent years trends of buying the animals through Internet has also started. there are several sites where  you can choose and order a animal that you like and it will be delivered at your place.
