Islam on Nationalism

How human beings are divided in the world is written in Holy Quran as follows;

(Al-Quran 49:13) Oh you people! We have certainly created you from one man, and a woman. Then We (multiplied you and) formed you into nations and tribes, (just) so you may identify and recognize each other. Indeed, according to Allah the nobler among you is (none other than) the one who fears Allah the most! Indeed, Allah is all-Knowing and well-Aware of everything.
That is, humans are divided into nations and tribe based on their geographical locations not because some of them were higher than others. The above verse makes it plain and clear that we are all the same except for the one who is pitier than others. And that too is the decision of Allah, no human being can call some one better than others because of his judgement and likeness.

No one has ever born in any country with his consent. It is rather, Allah swt who sends people to different parts of the world. Daily, in every hour, many children are born in different countries. Does it mean that few of them are superior than the others? No, the verse mentioned above is very clear on this. We are formed in nations and tribes only to have our recognition. Every year, hundreds of thousands of Muslims perform hajj and they perform every ritual of it in perfect accord without any superiority or inferiority. They all look same, dress in the same way, and do everything the same way. Thus, in the eyes of Islam, there is no meaning of nationalism or tribalism. They are totally out of the folds of islam.

Prophet Muhammad pbuh called asbiyah ( nationalism, tribalism) a rotten thing.
Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "He is not one of us who calls for 'asabiyyah, (nationalism) or who fights for 'asabiyyah or who dies for 'asabiyyah." And in another hadith, the Messenger of Allah (saws) referring to nationalism, racism, and patriotism said "Leave it, it is rotten". [Muslim and Bukhari]
This hadith is a thought provoking point for those muslims who call each other names and look down upon each other because they belong to different muslim countries. Islam is about unity it was never about division. The division among muslim ummah was created only to break their unity. Fact is, even today, muslims are the only nation who would be united over islam. Today, islam is being attacked from all sides only to create doubts in the hears of muslims so that they divide themselves over silly issues of no importance at all.

It is very unfortunate that muslim nations have turned against each others with the help of non muslims. We see the war of Iraq and Kuwait was assisted by america. We see the american invasion on Afghanistan was assisted by Pakistan. We see the Palestinian movement is being jeopardized constantly by Iranian intervention. In short, every muslim country is, in one way or other, involved in the global muslim massacre. This is the point of concern for muslim ummah. We were never suppose to be against each other. Allah swt say in Quran;
"The believers, men and women, are Awliya' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) good, and forbid evil, they perform Prayers and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have his Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise". [Qur'an 9:71]
Muslims are suppose to be each other's friends and helpers. But due to this rotten thing, nationalism, today muslims are each others' enemies. This thing destroyed previous nations and this thing has damaged muslim ummah as well. Muslims should worry about their unity more than the borders they have made because of their hatred.
